What would you create if you had little limitations or creative guidelines? Starting from a blank page can be intimidating, but I poured my heart into the work I created during my graduate program.

I learned the fundamentals of graphic design, best practices for digital design and finally how to code a fully responsive mobile-first website.

For some projects, we were asked to reimagine an existing brand; take the information currently on their website and use that to inspire new brand guidelines and a refreshed website. It required research, an understanding of their audience and a respect for their company mission with the ultimate goal of delivering a comprehensive company update.

I had the opportunity to envision a campaign for a museum exhibit as part of a class project. The project required us to do extensive research, and we were given the task of developing a marketing campaign that would increase attendance and awareness of the exhibit. We were asked to identify the target audience, create a visual identity, and develop a website and poster to promote the exhibit. Through this project, I gained valuable experience in creating a marketing campaign and I’ve been able to apply the knowledge and skills that I learned in class to my current position.

As an exploration into the capabilities of InDesign, I was asked to create a pamphlet for The Met as a part of my graduate program. I was able to create a design that is optimized for easy reading, while paying attention to typography, hierarchy, and imagery. All to ensure that the information is easy to understand and retain, making it an enjoyable experience for the viewer.

Outside of my graduate program, I had the opportunity to put my skills to the test by designing an invite and logo for an influencer brunch in New York City. I focused on creating a design that captures the essence of the event and the influencer's personal brand.

During my graduate program, I had the opportunity to design for a real client. I created a visually striking logo, a user-friendly website, and comprehensive brand guideline for the company to follow. Out of the entire class, I was selected to hand over my logo design files and website code files.
